Three charities that we are proud to be supporting are: 

Support Children in Emergencies

Children in Gaza are enduring the unimaginable.
At least 18,000 children have been killed in this war. It is estimated that 28 children are dying every day from preventable causes. And now, nearly 85% of Gaza’s children are at risk of starvation. 

Save the Children’s Regional Director, Ahmad Alhendawi, has made this plea to the international community: 

“Children in Gaza are starving to death before our eyes. We are seeing record rates of malnutrition after nearly five months of the Israeli government’s total siege on the entry of assistance. This is starvation of children by design. “It is unconscionable that children are collapsing from hunger, wasting away before our eyes and wishing to die while tons of life-saving food and nutritional supplies that could reverse an entirely man-made crisis, wait just across the border.”

I wanted to share those words with you because together, I know we can do something about this. Already, thanks to supporters like you, our teams in Gaza have overcome extreme challenges and managed to reach more than 1.7 million people with urgent support. We are operating two primary healthcare centres that are providing essential services to children, mothers, and families – including treating malnutrition. We are delivering water, running child-friendly spaces and areas where pregnant and breastfeeding women can receive care. We have also set up temporary learning centres to help children continue their education.
Given the challenges and the threat to the safety of our teams in Gaza, that is a remarkable achievement. But there is still so much more to do. “We can treat malnutrition.”  says Alhendawi. “These children will not die if we are allowed to do our jobs.”  

With governmental funding decreasing globally, children need our support more than ever. For our teams, as well as parents and caregivers who are trying to protect their children, your support can be a lifeline. We are prepared to scale up – but we need access, and we need resources. With your support, we’ll be ready to act the moment we’re able to reach even more children.

Restore the land

Dedicated to environmental conservation, this charity works on projects aimed at rehabilitating degraded lands, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and protecting natural habitats. Greening Australia aims to restore 330,000 hectares of native trees across Australia by 2030. Drawing on the expert input of Traditional Owners, scientists and local land managers, we will plant 500 million trees and shrubs to store carbon, create quality habitat for native wildlife, and restore degraded farmland.

Feed Aussies in crisis

This charity addresses food insecurity in Australia by providing nutritious meals and essential supplies to individuals and families in need. Foodbank already provides food relief to over 1 million Australians per month. In the past year, 3.7 million households experienced food insecurity - that's more than the number of households in Sydney and Melbourne combined.  For every $1 donated, Foodbank can create two meals for someone doing it tough. Funds raised will help Foodbank support communities trying to survive cost-of-living expenses and natural disasters of growing intensity and frequency.
