PROCESSING TIME

Your order will be dispatched the same business day if placed before 12pm AEST or the next business day if placed after 12pm AEST. During busy periods, promotional events and sales there may be delays on the dispatch of your order.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number, which will allow you to check how close you are to receiving your SANCIA parcel.

Please kindly note:

* Once your order is on its way, we are unable to change the shipping address.

* All orders require a phone number for delivery and cannot be delivered to a PO box or hotel.

* Shipping costs are in AUD.

* We dispatch orders within the processing timeframes listed above. Once your parcel has been collected by Australia Post, delivery timeframes are managed by the carrier.

Australia Post usually runs to schedule, however during busy periods there may be delays once your parcel is in transit.
Delivery times can vary depending on location and parcel volume.
Tracking updates may not always reflect real-time movement while your order is on its way.

While we always do our best to ensure a smooth delivery experience, occasional delays can happen during peak times and are outside of our control once your order has been dispatched.

To make things as seamless as possible for you, we now offer two clear shipping options when placing your order:

1. Australia Post Standard – $20 AUD
- Same-Day Dispatch (Excluding Pre-Orders)
- Delivery in 7-12 business days
- Duties and taxes calculated at checkout (tariffs approx. 30-35% of your order value)

2. Australia Post Express – $25 AUD
- Same-Day Dispatch (Excluding Pre-Orders)
- Delivery in 5-8 business days

Why Costs Have Changed
The US government has recently changed its import rules. Before, smaller orders could enter without extra fees, but now all parcels coming from overseas are taxed. This is why duties and tariffs are added to every order shipped from Australia to the USA. What we have done to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our USA community:

SHIPPING DELAYS
We do our best to ensure the timely delivery of all orders, please bear in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On a rare occasion, your order can arrive outside of the estimated time frame.

For rural areas across Australia there may be further delays to our delivery time frames. Please contact our team if you would like further information or assistance with delivery time frames.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

SANCIA does not hold responsibility for damaged, lost or stolen packages.

GIFT WRAPPING

All SANCIA items are boxed, beautifully gift wrapped in custom tissue paper with gold foil print. (100% Tencel / SANCIA tote included with all handbags)

INTERNATIONAL DUTY / TAXES (EXCLUDING USA)

Please kindly note that if you are purchasing online from outside of Australia, you may be charged customs duties and taxes. These duties and taxes are not included in the price of the goods and are not included in the overall shipping cost.
SANCIA is not responsible for any possible duties and taxes, which may be applied by customs in the country where delivery is made. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer.
SANCIA are legally required to declare the full dollar value paid on the international shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it.
SANCIA cannot refund shipping costs for customers that reject their packages upon arrival for failure to pay duty fees.

* Please note, if you do not pay the duties and taxes on your SANCIA parcel and your parcel is returned, SANCIA will deduct the actual shipping cost from your refund.

At SANCIA, we want you to absolutely love your purchase. Every piece is thoughtfully made, and if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make your return experience as smooth as possible.

Return Options

We offer three return outcomes for eligible orders within 7 days of receiving your purchase:

Exchange: Swap your item for a new size or style (subject to availability).
Store Credit: Receive a digital gift card for the value of your return, valid for future purchases.
Refund: Receive a refund to your original payment method (excluding original shipping cost) plus less a $15 handling fee (where applicable)
If you return your item for a store credit or exchange, we will waive the cost of return shipping and provide a return shipping label complimentary.

Please ensure your item meets the return conditions below before submitting your return.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unworn, unused and in original condition.
All original packaging must be included and in perfect condition – this includes the pink gift box, tissue paper, tags, and strap protectors.
The swing tags (locking tags) must still be attached.
The item must be securely packaged for its return journey.
The goods are not sale items or reduced priced items. These are final sale.

Once your return arrives and is approved, we’ll process your exchange, refund or store credit promptly.

How to Return

Visit our Returns Portal to start your return.
Select your preferred option – exchange, store credit, or refund.
Download and attach your prepaid return label (Australia only)
For all other locations, please arrange your own tracked return shipping to ensure your parcel reaches us safely.
Drop your parcel at your nearest Post location within 10 days.
We’ll take care of the rest once it arrives back at our warehouse.

Bonus Credit & Incentives

Store Credit Bonus: For orders over $189, receive an extra $20 store credit as a thank-you for choosing to shop with us again.
Shop Now Bonus: When you select Shop Now through the return portal, you’ll receive a bonus $25 credit added instantly to your return value, allowing you to shop immediately while your return is on its way back to us.

Additional Information

Store Credit: Delivered as a digital gift card via email once your return is approved.
Refunds: Issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for bank processing.
Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable.
Sale items and items sold on promotion are non-refundable. Please note, this does not include our 10% welcome code.

Important Notes

Upon receipt, your items will be checked to make sure they meet the conditions above and once cleared, you will receive a refund or credit note for the purchase price (excluding original shipping cost) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase.
If you paid with a gift card, you will be refunded to that same gift card and will be able to re-use the original unique code towards your next purchase. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund once finalised.
We do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned, other than for faulty items.
We are not liable for the loss of garments being returned. We recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number.

• The original packaging is in perfect condition and the pink gift box is not damaged.
• Please note, you will be required to cover the cost to ship the items back to our warehouse in order to receive your refund (minus the original cost of shipping if you paid for shipping). Please kindly send with tracking to ensure the parcel arrives safely.

When your items have shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your parcel tracking number. To track your purchase, you can enter your tracking number following the link on the tracking email.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO boxes or forwarding addresses.

In most cases, if your parcel is sent to a home address and no authorized person is available to sign then a card will be left and your parcel will be taken to your local post office. On rare occasions, your parcel will be returned to the Australia post depot and a re-delivery will be required. If you do not receive your parcel within 5 days please email us.

Please note that you can specify for your parcel to be left unattended. SANCIA cannot take any responsibility for parcels that are lost or stolen.

Please ensure you enter your correct mailing address as SANCIA cannot take any responsibility for incorrect delivery addresses and will not reimburse you for the order or shipping costs.

Please be aware that any items shipped internationally may be subject to import duties and taxes applicable to your country or the country you’re shipping to. The recipient of the shipment is the importer on record in the destination country and is responsible for all import fees. SANCIA has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country; we recommend that you contact your local customers office for further information.

Please be aware that the photos on our website are as close as possible a representation of the actual leather colours. Leather is a natural material and therefore inconsistency of colour and texture is a unique characteristic. The colour may slightly differ from the picture seen on your computer screen depending on device so please make your selection carefully. SANCIA leather goods are crafted in the finest skins available. These premium leathers are natural and unique: any tonal variations, marks or veins are natural features and should not be considered imperfections.

Our fabrications are all hand dyed so there will be variations in batches of fabric colour. Even though we try to photograph them to capture the closest possible match sometimes, there may be a slight variation which adds to the uniqueness of each piece. We are happy to send any further images should you want a closer look at any item, do contact us.

We do not accept a return based on colour discrepancy.

When you purchase multiple items and one item is on pre-order, if you are based in Australia, we are happy to ship the items individually.
However, if you’re purchasing internationally, we will ship the items together when the pre-order item is available as the shipping costs are too high for us.

We take great pride in the high quality of our beautiful handcrafted products; each piece is meticulously hand checked to ensure they are in perfect condition before sending and each item is packaged carefully.

If an item is damaged on arrival or a manufacturing fault occurs under normal use (not including general wear and tear) within 12 months of the purchase date, please follow the step-by-step instructions below in order to process the item:

Warranty will not be honored if the item has been mistreated. If proven to be a manufacturing fault, SANCIA will happily repair free of charge or replace with the same or comparable item.
